Manager's Pro Opinion
Yes, Russia should be allowed to rejoin the G7. It was a part of the group for 15 years. It is a wealthy country. Russia was an important member of the group. Many of the group’s discussion involved Russia. One example is the Iran deal. Russia makes the group stronger. If Russia were to rejoin the group, it would be easier for other member countries to negotiate with it. Their own relationship with the country would improve

Manager's Con Opinion
No, Russia should not be allowed to rejoin the G7. The country has violated international law. This was why Russia was expelled from the group. The G7 is a group of democratic wealthy nations. Its member countries respect the freedom of other nations. Russia has failed to do this when it annexed, or took over, Crimea. By allowing it to rejoin the G7, the group would be rewarding Russia for its bad behavior. Russia must be willing to make changes before it can be accepted back in the G7.

Yes, I agree that Russia violated international law. But already many years have gone. How about rejoining Russia and being the generous country?

Dear Manager,
Your argument regarding Russia's economy is groundless. Russia has a pretty unstable economy, heavily reliant on its natural resources. Besides, please clarify your point about the "Iran deal." With only that one sentence you've written I cannot understand how the "Iran deal" gives Russia a ponderous authority. Furthermore, I don't get how Russia would make the group stronger. NATO, for example, is one of the strongest international military organizations, even if Russia isn't affiliated with the group. Lastly, Russia is already a superpower: Russia doesn't need more power to negotiate with other countries. Registering for the G7 would be an obsolete process for them.

Dear taehoon,
First of all, there's no such thing as generosity in international affairs. Also, if we allow Russia to rejoin in the group, Russia might take advantage of its position to harass other countries, just like how they did to Ukraine in 2014.

Okay, I admit that there's no such thing as generosity in international affairs. However, I don't think they shouldn't rejoin in the group just only because it might take advantage of its position to harass other countries. I think they should rejoin Russia and prevent it from making negative effect.

Grammar Error - "I think they should allow Russia to join and ....."
Plus, how do you suggest the G7 members could prevent Russia from committing such atrocities? Please specify because Russia has this mighty majestic supreme gorgeous leader called Putin who cares nothing but his fatherland.
